We think it’s important to keep active both mentally and physically. Our comfortable handicapped accessible van allows outings to a variety of places and community events. Marian has studied at The Culinary Institute of America. We take great pride in preparing well-balanced meals and accommodating special diets.

Management & Staff Marian Steffes, (M.N.;R.N. ) is the owner of Bearcreek Respite Care Center. Marian received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at SDSU and her Masters Degree in Community Health from MSU. She received her administrator’s certification through Alfa University. Extensive experience in adult health care has been gained through her 25+ years in the nursing profession. Marian’s nursing skills and management have made Bearcreek a successful respite center recognized by families, physicians, and other health care workers. Interests outside of her rewarding work include gardening, reading and outdoor activities.
The Staff at Bearcreek consists of ten staff members, including three registered nurses. Bearcreek is staffed 24 hours a day. This well qualified group consists of an activities coordinator and nurse aides. It is the goal of every staff member to meet both the needs of residents as well as their families.
